Goodbye to Mania…

Read to this tune…

sober and realizing now,
she’ll let you down–

i’m feeling now,
the fire moving on–

ready to move on,
and silent her grave–

i envision her gone…

the joy of seeing her fade,
a sunset to wave…

goodbye to you,
goodbye to you…

the terror you bring,
with the eye of a need,

and a fishook for the brain…

the psyche scarred of scars you bring,
holding steady for the rain,

to feel safety in my arms,
in my arms warm with you,

melodies haunting and painless escapes,
the terror that was you again,

to mania…

About Michael Medlen

My name is Michael and during my free time I avoid having a day job. Strangely enough, this gives me the freedom to run this blog. I write just about anything that can be considered art. I also occasionally post articles that may or may not be relevant to the theme of this site. You’ve been warned.
