In my darkest despair

In my darkest despair,
spare me,
for I am you,
and we are lonely…

your font is lovely,
so is the key,
climbing an ivory tower,
is this really healthy?

I look from above,
catch an avatar of you,
hopeless desperate,
fuck, what to do?

Should I reach for a lover,
or stare at your kiss,
tracing haloes around your finger,
please reminisce…

perhaps in another life,
one, maybe four, but really any will do,
I love you, I love you,
did I say it too…

schmazlty and hopeless,
romantically devoid too,
I love you,
I love you…

Yeah, this one’s to you…

Come back to me…

About Michael Medlen

My name is Michael and during my free time I avoid having a day job. Strangely enough, this gives me the freedom to run this blog. I write just about anything that can be considered art. I also occasionally post articles that may or may not be relevant to the theme of this site. You’ve been warned.
