Delusions of grandeur…

Delusions of grandeur…
So many, no wonder…

You attack me for what I believe,
which is delusions of grandeur–

Oh, how neccessary!

Beneath the stars,
these delusions never end…

with beautiful faces,
and nowhere to go–

Delusions of grandeur,
how I need you so!

With cherries and wonderful lives,
I wonder how many lie to survive…

With delusions of grandeur,
all I need is a narcissist by my side…

with a fire that ignites,
a well dripping with closed eyes,

a head to be measured
but really, what competition against?

Delusions of grandeur,
oh wonderful things,

this poem may upset you,
to which I kindly say…

GROW UP!

Much love, Michael
