To the Lady in My Head (Hip-Hop Remix 1)

I wish I could cuff
but I can’t…
Just to tell you
the snakeskin dance
sold by the twist
and oh those glorious hips
but it’s the abs that get me
everytime you bend just to pretend…

sold by the cut of the face ‘gainst the grain
the profile sold
nose gold
just a little snip set to the hair
golden brown
cut against those darkened eyebrows
waxed and thinned,
just the way I like them 😉

she says she loves it when
i try to pretend
a hip hop god set to your twist
just to reminisce
that time in NY was fine
but it’s still the voice that enrapts the mind

so I set down this verse
just to remember we need to rehearse…

About Michael Medlen

My name is Michael and during my free time I avoid having a day job. Strangely enough, this gives me the freedom to run this blog. I write just about anything that can be considered art. I also occasionally post articles that may or may not be relevant to the theme of this site. You’ve been warned.
