Snapshot of What I Write in My Diary…

Midnight Rendezvous

(An American Haiku)

Whiskey and cigarets

Her Breath

Down

Her blond south

My caress…

She reaches

for the lamp

chain…

American Doggerel

Devoid of

Structure

Blind they

Stumble

Hearing Words

For a whsiper

And yet

They crumble

Vulgarities exposed

She reaches behind

Feeling her way

For the gentle slide…

Devoted to

A phrase

Mother of

Pearl

And so the

Saying

Goes…

And so it goes

I’ve reached the end

Of my page…

(To Be continued…)

About Michael Medlen

My name is Michael and during my free time I avoid having a day job. Strangely enough, this gives me the freedom to run this blog. I write just about anything that can be considered art. I also occasionally post articles that may or may not be relevant to the theme of this site. You’ve been warned.

  1. There’s something about this I find most alluring. Not sure what it is but I like it.
