Mania

Sweet cheers for the comedown
Released and without a meltdown
Transformed at best
You are a mess
But God is the real letdown…

About Michael Medlen

My name is Michael and during my free time I avoid having a day job. Strangely enough, this gives me the freedom to run this blog. I write just about anything that can be considered art. I also occasionally post articles that may or may not be relevant to the theme of this site. You’ve been warned.

  3. This was written as an early lamentation of a Chrisitan. I wanted to express the sorrow that ultimately follows a manic episode. I still place first in all that I do but wanted to capture the frustration that stems from hearing him and then losing him.

  5. Hmm, I think the poem does hardly reflects your candid explanation. I think we are the letdowns. Hearing Him and losing Him most times is not His fault but ours. 😊🌺
