About Michael Medlen

My name is Michael and during my free time I avoid having a day job. Strangely enough, this gives me the freedom to run this blog. I write just about anything that can be considered art. I also occasionally post articles that may or may not be relevant to the theme of this site. You’ve been warned.

  2. Thanks. I’ve really been focusing on simplifying my verse for the last year or so but I’m starting to feel the need again to expand. I guess all art is fluid.

  3. There’s nothing wrong with simplifying verses in one’s poetry. In fact, poetry gives clarity to one’s own heart and influence many more out there to read your brilliant work. 🙂

And the need to expand do you mean: using more imagery? surrealism maybe? curious.
