The one who could scream to the bleeding ears of fans enduring

only to find torment in a scoff meant to disguise their own

how the hearts tried to evade the scar that never seemed to heal

now ripped open from a wound never properly bandaged to begin

RIP Chester Bennington

About Michael Medlen

My name is Michael and during my free time I avoid having a day job. Strangely enough, this gives me the freedom to run this blog. I write just about anything that can be considered art. I also occasionally post articles that may or may not be relevant to the theme of this site. You’ve been warned.

Nice tribute, but: as a fan I can say that my ears never bled 😉 I loved his voice, his screaming made me feel like I felt his pain which was also my pain. Terrible loss…

If there is or was a life in the hereafter, I’ve no doubt that Chester Bennington, reading your words wherever he is, would RIP. Indeed a pleasure to read you, and I thank you!

  6. You’re welcome.

This was so tragic. Only 41.
I saw him/Lincoln Park in San Jose, CA in 2001.
The 5 song EP he did as the lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots is also a lesser known gem.
