  1. People who follow Christ are not concerned with earthly matters but rather pleasing our Lord
  2. A man can only become a master if he follows laws
  3. A hardworking person shall be the first to enjoy the fruit of his labors
  4. If follow Christ, we shall be with and like him
  5. In order to increase Godly lives, we must shun profane and and vain speech
  6. Jesus knows who his followers are and will reveal himself to them
  7. If a person purges theirself of earthly treasures, they shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and used by the master
    1. Flee youthful lusts
    2. Follow righteous behaviors, faith, charity, and peace
  8. Avoid foolish and obvious questions
  9. Be gentle unto all men
  10. In last days, perilous times shall come
  11. In last days, men shall be the following
    1. lovers of themselves
    2. covetous
    3. boastful
    4. proud
    5. blasphemous
    6. disobedient to parents
    7. unthankful
    8. without natural affection
    9. treacherous
    10. false accusers
    11. incontinent
    12. fierce despisers of good people
    13. traitors
    14. heedy
    15. high minded
    16. lovers of pleasure over lovers of God
    17. sleep with lustful women
    18. always learning and yet never able to understand anything
  12. All who live Godly in Christ shall suffer persecutions
  13. We are to preach the ward and be ready in season and out of season, as well as evangelize
  14. Scripture is useful for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness
