what is yours?

what is yours?

heaven a dirt road

trampled by the foot of a

horse without a shoe

heaven a dirt road

trailing into the distance

trailing to nowhere

heaven a dirt road

diverging into 2 paths

frost knows where to go

heaven a dirt road

a pebble carried away

lost on a carpet

heaven a dirt road

nature’s highway for a mouse

a path without grace

heaven a dirt road

a path without a distance

marked by tire tracks

heaven a dirt road

a bog waiting for the rain

a swamp for a crook

heaven a dirt road

waiting to be discovered

a street with no name

heaven a dirt road

a haiku for everyone

a poem without end

About Michael Medlen

My name is Michael and during my free time I avoid having a day job. Strangely enough, this gives me the freedom to run this blog. I write just about anything that can be considered art. I also occasionally post articles that may or may not be relevant to the theme of this site. You’ve been warned.
