Mattress on a Curbside

They got me on a twin

When I coulda had a queen

And savored the delight of a hole

Dug by a mouse.

And fingered that tight metal signal

Poking it’s tip thru a white skin

Just to ruffle against its firmness

And dream to a bounce.

Just to to feel rested

While a young girl lies naked

Wrapped in a cloud

Away from my house.

About Michael Medlen

My name is Michael and during my free time I avoid having a day job. Strangely enough, this gives me the freedom to run this blog. I write just about anything that can be considered art. I also occasionally post articles that may or may not be relevant to the theme of this site. You’ve been warned.
