to the lady in my head (iii-v)

to the lady in my head (iii – v)

(iii)

it’s a measure of my devotion

that i wait for our time to come

a whistle whittering spark

untested by my warrior

(iv)

Your Yellow Faux Hair my sanity

Your beat the driving of my heart

and i the fool to wait by hesitantly

while you’re unaware of my art

oblivion and serenity

loving an image for a god

(v)

Your words my calamity

A song to which there are

but two words:

You and i

Tho you maybe perfected

A chisel must chisel my art

A song to which there is none.

About Michael Medlen

My name is Michael and during my free time I avoid having a day job. Strangely enough, this gives me the freedom to run this blog. I write just about anything that can be considered art. I also occasionally post articles that may or may not be relevant to the theme of this site. You’ve been warned.
