2 metaphorical poems

Restless is the night

tho calming is the light

Tru the wander this

illustrious globe reminds me

that even god is afraid of the dark.

What is it?

Hearts are meant to be shattered

Live a vase upon a stumbling throne

And tho the pieces may be scattered

It’s shape can never be undone.

What is the difference between a metaphor and a simile?

About Michael Medlen

My name is Michael and during my free time I avoid having a day job. Strangely enough, this gives me the freedom to run this blog. I write just about anything that can be considered art. I also occasionally post articles that may or may not be relevant to the theme of this site. You’ve been warned.
