Safe Space

The following is a prayer written while I was in the hospital

Present yourself and I shall obey

For the cloudy mind has turned an eye

And I am left cold and afraid

and yet your voice

Present and true and clear

Shall free me from the shackles

That logic and reason command

And all that I am shall be

Reduced to rubble and ash

That only you can alleviate

For you alone are my safe space

About Michael Medlen

My name is Michael and during my free time I avoid having a day job. Strangely enough, this gives me the freedom to run this blog. I write just about anything that can be considered art. I also occasionally post articles that may or may not be relevant to the theme of this site. You’ve been warned.

Beautifully Spoken…I can assume you are speaking about God and His grace. Yes, He is willing to reach out and love unconditionally: for a true Father does give.

Hallelujah, Praise the Lord with Me, Michael!
